Job description:

Human Resources & Communication team is seeking an Application Developer to join our team. You will work alongside people as passionate and driven as you, focused on delivering best possible technical solutions and user experiences. As an Application Developer you’ll typically create technology solutions for business problems along with coding each day, but then you’re off work to relax, recharge and refocus.

Reporting to Product Delivery Manager, Human Resources & Communication you will be accountable for the following:

Accountabilities:

• Champion new technology transitions by learning them quickly, becoming a subject matter expert and producing proofs of concept to determine the technology stack
• Develop scalable, clean solutions using .NET programming languages while maintaining component design standards
• Evaluate detailed business, functional, and high-level technical requirements (including disaster recovery, security and audit)
• Collaborate across multiple teams while maintaining good communication to ensure smooth rollout of product releases
• Work with Product Owners and Scrum Master in continuous process improvement for estimating
• Performs root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of problem and manages the resolution of simple to complex problems
• Ensure that design standards and documentation are followed
• Ensure that design reviews are scheduled and executed. Provide feedback and recommend solutions
• Provide technical support as an expert
• Ensure code review is conducted with peers to certify code quality and security standards
• Define and manage process by which, support and technical assistance is performed
• Ensure delivery of change management activities supporting production deployments to Developers, Quality Control Analysts, and Environment Management personnel
• Improve existing software
• Perform Unit testing and resolve defects

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and Engineering practices
• Working knowledge of security best practices (OWASP)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with web services using REST protocol
• Experience in JavaScript, Angular, JQuery, HTML, CSS
• Hands on Experience designing database schema, writing stored procedures (SQL Server, Oracle), optimizing and fine-tuning DB scripts
• Exposure and knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP etc.)
• Proven Proficiency in ETL tools/solutions (Talend, SQL Server Integration Services, Python)
• Proven hands-on experience in the Microsoft .Net stack, including Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net, IIS, MVC and Web API
• Fluent knowledge in Cron jobs and UNIX shell scripts
• Experience in tools such as GitHub, JIRA, Hibernate, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline set up or modifications
• Experience in web-based application design, development, and support in enterprise environments
• Upbeat, adaptable, change catalyst and results oriented with a positive attitude
• Solid experience in Data Transformation (data integration, data migration, data wrangling)
• Experience: 4+ Years
• Proven experience in the Microsoft .Net stack, including Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net, IIS, MVC and Web API

Bonus qualification:

• Knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint
• Knowledge with supporting Employee Engagement Platform
• Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services
• Experiences with Solution Vendors
