POSITION SUMMARY:

The Application Developer is responsible for the delivery of application solutions through design, development (coding), implementation and/or maintenance of various custom solutions, and/or configuration of current and new applications systems within the prescribed delivery timeline or service level standards.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:

• Design, develop, and test new features in the applications.
• Conduct regular communication with others involved in the development process.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Document all code for other team members to use as a starting point in new programs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Design and implementation of software projects using C#.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable C# code.
• Provide support to end users.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Must be goal-oriented with a growth mindset.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Web Development.
• Proficient in Relational Databases and design (specifically Microsoft’s SQL Server).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience developing and supporting Web applications.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills.
• Positive and motivated.
• Hands on experience in .NET web application development (Javascript, C#, WebForm, MVC), web services (XML, SOAP, WSDL, JSON, REST), T-SQL, and Reporting Services.
• Strong attention to detail, identifying and sharing continuous improvement opportunities.
• Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent.
