About The Team
The Business Application Developer will join the Operational Excellence team within the Global Supply Chain Management organization at FIS. Our team is responsible for optimizing supply chain business processes through the use of technology and operational improvements. We value collaboration and teamwork, and our team members work closely together to develop and implement strategies for modernizing the Supply Chain organization of the future.
About The Role
We are seeking a Business Application Developer to join our team. As a Business Application Developer, you will work on developing custom applications using MS Power Platform. You will be involved in all stages of development, including gathering requirements, designing, developing, testing, and deploying solutions.
The position will be fully remote, with occasional travel to the office as needed. In-person outings will be organized for students during the term and attendance is encouraged.
This position is f or the Fall 2023 term~ preferred start date of Aug 28 and will end on Dec 15. Two consecutive terms are preferred but not required.
What You Will Be Doing

• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in application development
• Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions
• Assist in the troubleshooting and maintenance of existing applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects
• Develop custom applications using MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)

What You Bring

• Strong understanding of MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Currently enrolled in a Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related program
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with Visual Basics is considered an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Familiarity with SQL and DAX
