Intermediate Fulllstack Developer Jobs

The Intermediate Fullstack Developer role will be responsible for developing the best user experience by building out our client's component library. This will require writing clean and testable code, which will be integrated with the backend/APIs and refined. You will collaborate with our UX team, business users and backend developers. The Developer will be engaged through the entire SDLC, not only to vet the designs for feasibility but also to help refine the workflow through a technical lens.
Advantages
Fully remote role, however client would like someone in the GTA area as they would prefer staff come on site around 1/month for town hall meetings in person. As well, they sometimes do team events and its fun for all the teams to gather in person.
Responsibilities

• Strong Microservices
• Strong Java skills with a breakdown of approximately 70% back end work and 30% front end.
• Cloud experience is welcomed (AWS)

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a development role
• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• A passion for developing products, working in teams
• A focus on user-oriented development and end-user satisfaction
• Worked on API and Microservices based architecture/services

Summary

• Insurance knowledge an asset
• Familiar with the Agile software development
