Current HRPA designation as a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL)

Support in coordination of all aspects of recruitment including posting job advertisement, screening, interviewing, hiring and selection, preparing job offers etc.

Payroll, benefits, and pension administration

3+ years of experience in Human Resources, or similar is required

Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or similar HRIS is a significant asset

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required

Proven organizational skills demonstrating effective time management, accuracy and adaptability

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in Human Resources

Performs end to end recruitment tasks, including role briefs, job postings, applicant screening, interviewing, probity checks, and offer management

Facilitates quality candidate management, and a positive experience throughout the recruitment process

Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities effectively

Ensures the disability management program is effective, including short-term and long-term leaves, and in alignment with corporate objectives

Implements programs including performance reviews, training and development, compensation reviews, employee communications and benefit administration

Monitors the employee experience to identify employee relations issues and opportunities, recommends ideas and actions

Provide counselling to the Director of Education, Associate Director of Education and the management team on policies and procedures.

Experience managing service tickets from call to resolution would be an asset

Responds to service requests regarding the installation of hardware and software for end user computing devices

Assist the HR department with projects related to our performance management software and performance reviews

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources Management

Comply with all OHSA safety requirements

Basic knowledge of Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other employment/labour laws

Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs and Sheets
