Job Title: Virtual HR Assistant Internship or CO-OP

Perform the integration and orientation of new management and unionized employees,

University degree in commerce, business, human resources management or industrials relations,

Maintain documentation regarding the employee information, OHS programs, benefits administration, etc.,

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in human resources,

Excellent knowledge of French, both oral and written.

A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the public sector or a similarly complex unionized environment.

In-depth knowledge of Canadian labor laws, employment standards, and collective agreement interpretation.

Collaborate with union representatives to address grievances, negotiate collective agreements, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Conduct investigations into employee complaints and conflicts, and provide recommendations for resolution.

Employee health and safety management

Teach or have teaching experience in the discipline for a full semester within the last five (5) years;

Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner;

Design formative and summative evaluations according to the competency-based approach;
