Human Resources Recruiter (Ft)

ABM College is currently looking for a dynamic, energetic and highly experienced Recruiter who has a track record of showing initiative, high-volume recruiting experience, willing to collaborate with others and possesses the ideal balance of experience and potential for future advancement.

The Recruiter will provide recruitment support to the Human Resources Department in the daily recruitment operations of the College.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to include professional networking, direct sourcing, employee referrals, etc.
• Creating job postings, drafting and updating job descriptions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, etc.
• Continuously improve the overall recruitment process, both internally and externally.
• Managing the full cycle recruitment process for all positions, including Campus staff and Instructors.
• Provide additional support to the Human Resources Department when needed.
• Propose and implement creative methods to increase the quality and number of applicants, including new sources for active and passive candidates.
• Ensure the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources plans and programs are implemented.
• Oversee the day-to-day recruitment operations of the Campus.
• In partnership with the Human Resources Department, develop and drive recruitment initiatives and projects to support Talent Acquisition evolution.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Alberta Labour Laws and Human Rights.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in the Higher Education Industry and recruiting for College Instructors is considered an asset.
• Post-secondary degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
• Preferably CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources).
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Minimum 3-5 years of high-volume recruitment experience.
• Efficient with strong organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time.

• Monday to Friday.

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
