Human Resources Advisor Jobs

Our client is looking for a Human Resources Advisor who will support the delivery of HR services to the different departments and practice groups and will participate in the design and delivery of best practices. The HR Advisor will be tasked to develop, reward, and retain the best talent in the market.

Responsibilities

• Manage succession planning, training/coaching, and development of staff.
• Lead the recruitment of legal support staff and administrative. positions; interview, conduct reference checks, prepare offer letters, and negotiate salary.
• Lead competitive market research to monitor salary and benefits in the market.
• Coordinate effective utilization of the administrative staff.
• Onboarding and orientation of new employees.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in HR and CPHR or CHRL designation preferred.
• Minimum of three years of HR Generalist experience and experience in all the HR functional areas preferably from a law firm or professional services environment.
• Thorough understanding of the Employment Standards Code.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
