Job Description
Our client, a large and successful Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Manager. Responsible to develop, maintain and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s Corporate office.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience leading Health & Safety initiatives
  • Experience with Workday and payroll administration an asset
  • University Degree and/or College diploma in related discipline preferred
  • 5-8 years previous leadership experience in a progressive Human Resources department
  • Team-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Human Resources in Manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR programs effectively
  • Post-Secondary certification in the field of Human Resources Management
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the division with all Performance Management and Succession Planning initiatives and programs
  • Lead HR team and manage the HR budget as set out by Finance
  • Advise and make recommendations to senior management and supervisors regarding discipline resolution and termination.
  • Develop and recommend Training and Development Programs for management, supervisors and hourly staff
  • Responsible for the Communicate strategy to ensure all information gets to employees on related HR programs.
  • Develop, maintain and implement HR strategies and initiatives and related policies and procedures
  • Manage temporary staffing third party relationships and audit process and ensure temp staffing needs for division are achieved
  • Lead the HR team to ensure all company HR programs are implemented effectively while supporting employee engagement and empowerment
  • Ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met
  • Lead division talent management and recruitment process for the division
  • Provide guidance and support to the leadership team and employees on the interpretation and administration of human resources policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all HR initiatives and employee interactions are customer focused and facilitate employee empowerment and employee engagement.
