Who You Are

Your Role:


  • Special projects to develop and implement new HR initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all HR-related information while working independently.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers as well as internal and external candidates.
  • Build and motivate employees for continuous improvement as we work towards building and maintaining a world class candidate and employee experience.
  • Mitigate and escalate employee relation issues while adhering to Canadian Employment Standards and company polices.
  • Participate in special projects and other HR initiatives.
  • Ability to coach, train and guide hiring managers to choose the right candidate.
  • Build network and relationships with local colleges and universities.
  • Utilize social media platforms to garner interest from clients and candidates
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and teams.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment functions including job postings, compiling internal applicants, coordinating interviews and arranging testing
  • Support other general HR admin tasks.
  • Prepare candidates, profiles for interviews and presentation.
  • Handle Inbound/Outbound inquiries and confirmation of applicant information
  • Guide and mentor stakeholders on Canadian Employment Standards.
  • Sourcing, screening and matching candidate profiles.
  • Knowledge, compliance and implementation of Canadian Employment Standards.
  • Provide support to Talent Acquisition Specialists.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs and recruitment events
  • Develop and maintain a robust pool of qualified candidates.


Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer relation skills; ability to establish credibility with stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; understand, speak, read, and write in English (French) language.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR Experience.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Strong team player with a positive friendly demeanor who likes to take initiative and build strong professional relationships.
  • High level of commitment to delivering exceptional client services.
  • Degree or graduate in HR Professional programs.
  • MS Office tools.
