The Role:
Our site in Calgary, Canada is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner/ Generalist to join our team!
The Human Resources Business Partner will play a key role in aligning the Human Resources strategy to Entegris business goals at our Calgary location. This role will be critical in building organizational capabilities by attracting, engaging, developing and retaining top talent within the business. It will also play a very important role in the administration of the benefits and payroll process.
What You'll Do:
  • Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into critical HR actions, programs, and initiatives.
  • Utilize data to solve complex business issues and provide recommendations to senior leaders
  • Participate in HR continuous improvement projects and initiatives
  • Conduct local benefits negotiations annually
  • Provide HR solutions support, process knowledge advice and consultation to the business unit (BU) and/or line management
  • Communicate complex information in an understandable, organized, concise manner
  • Implement large scale initiatives (i.e., roll out annual programs, new programs/policies, etc.).
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and bring to resolution
  • Manage local benefits programs
  • Collaborate with Center of Excellence partners in the US to execute and implement large-scale HR initiatives (i.e., roll out annual programs, new programs/policies, etc.)
  • Act as a catalyst for change; guide and direct organizational design, development and change management solutions.
  • Coach management team on leadership and HR issues including application of HR policies and processes, restructuring, complex employee issues.
What We Seek:
  • Ability to be self motivated and a track record of having a bias for action
  • Ability to innovate and drive to challenge the status quo
  • Experience working in a multi-location, global organization a plus
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of applying and managing Canadian employment law
  • Proven experience leading and supporting large change management initiatives
  • Proven analytical capabilities
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on projects and issues
  • Proven project and time management skills with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Knowledge and understanding of US labor and employment law, a plus
  • Proven capability working with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs
  • 2+ years of experience managing benefit programs, payroll and related program administration
  • 4+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
