Job Description

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with the overall organizational people strategies and specifically assigned businesses. The HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to both management and employees, providing expertise and guidance on a wide range of HR-related matters.

The role involves building strong relationships, driving organizational effectiveness, and ensuring the implementation of HR initiatives that support a positive work environment and business success.


Business Partnership:

  • Provide strategic HR guidance and insights to drive people-related initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business line senior leadership and management to understand strategies, goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Human Resources counterparts in developing and implementing the following Centers of Excellence initiatives.
  • Coordinate between HR departments and assigned businesses to effectively implement HR initiatives.


Employee Relations:

  • Provide guidance to managers on employee performance and development, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate and conduct termination meetings for field and office staff.
  • Assist in ensuring employee data is maintained properly and accurately in the HRIS.
  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and fair manner, while adhering to company policies and legal regulations.


Talent Management:

  • Partner with recruiting and hiring teams to support workforce planning, talent acquisition, and onboarding processes.
  • Identify and implement business-specific recruitment strategies.
  • Facilitate succession planning and talent reviews to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Identify high-potential employees and create development plans to nurture growth within the organization.


HR Compliance:

  • Stay up-to-date with labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure HR policies and practices are compliant.
  • Advise managers and employees on legal and ethical matters related to employment.


The Ideal Candidate for this will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Several years of progressive experience in human resources roles, with a focus on HRBP responsibilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
