–Business Development Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Business Development Coordinator for PELMO International. As a researcher, you will be responsible for conducting a feasibility study involving virtual reality and communication in the healthcare industry. This research will include gathering authentic material by conducting interviews with the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. If you love talking and laughing with people, you will love this job! You will also investigate business development opportunities, domestically and internationally, and learn to pitch the business' philosophy and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all interview materials are properly documented and organized for future use.
• Attend team meetings and provide updates.
• Research areas of the healthcare industry as directed by the CEO and present findings on a weekly basis.
• Conduct in-person and online interviews with people across Newfoundland and Labrador to gather authentic stories, experiences, and insights.
• Manage documents and comply with all government regulations.
• Research avenues of business development, domestically and internationally, for PELMO International.
• Research Virtual Reality activity in the healthcare industry

Qualifications

• A degree in business development or related field
• Recent (within five years) graduate from a Canadian post-secondary institution
• Must be under 30 years of age
• Strong interviewing skills
• Valid driver's license
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with the Newfoundland culture
• Ability to build relationships and network with people from various backgrounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Technically savvy
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
• Experience with doing in-depth research
• Must reside in Newfoundland and Labrador
