About the Role:

We are seeking highly motivated Business Development Intern / Executive to join our team.The ideal candidate will be working with Director Business Development and should have passion in business development and a deep understanding of local market & freelancing platforms.


Ability To Learn:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the freelancing platforms' policies and algorithms.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, including lead generation, sales conversion rates, and revenue growth.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products/services (Software development/IT Services) and effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse platform performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize our presence and visibility.
  • Proactively engage with potential clients through direct messaging, emails, and calls to generate leads and secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define project scopes, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Create compelling proposals, bids, and pitches tailored to the requirements of each project or client.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients in Local & on various freelancing platforms, including but not limited to Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and Guru.


Requirements:

  • Under graduate candidates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proactive and self-motivated approach to achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence clients remotely.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Proven track record in business development, preferably within the freelancing industry or related platforms.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and evolving platform requirements.
  • Proficient in using project management and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
  • Understanding with Software Development companies will be great.
  • Strong understanding of freelancing platforms, including their features, algorithms, and best practices.
