Beiersdorf Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual who will challenge the status quo to guide us in achieving first class value creation, build trust with colleagues and partners, simplify our business processes, drive growth and fight for our share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for building the Beiersdorf business and relationships with national accounts. The CBM will plan and execute sales strategies that successfully grow the business across multiple categories. The CBM will effectively link Beiersdorf brand strategies with core retailer strategies. The CBM will provide the team with fact-based insights and analytics to help champion the customer at Beiersdorf. Responsibilities include:
- Achieving and exceeding quota
- Driving profitable growth and national share
- Leading implementation of company/category/brand strategy with Customers
- Lead multi-functional and multi-level contacts to maximize the account P&L and customer satisfaction.
- Lead annual strategic planning process, including opportunity identification and plan development & implementation.
FURTHER ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead sales forecasting
- Deliver targeted KPI results as defined in annual business plans
- Provide value-added insights and opportunities through rigorous analysis of market, channel, retailer, and competitive
- Utilize appropriate BDF sales methodologies
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the sales team
- Communicate retailer strategies, initiatives and progress within Beiersdorf
- Take the lead role in selling and negotiating business development opportunities
- Manage and optimize trade spend
- Build ‘breadth and depth’ of relationships with key decision-makers & influencers
DO YOU POSSESS…
- Detail oriented and well-organized approach to managing multiple priorities
- Bilingualism in considered an asset (English/French)
- Provide insights which can be implemented in a sales environment
- Strategic thought leadership
- Strong presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Excellent computer literacy, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills; collaborative approach to dealing with multiple contacts
- Ability to develop fact-based, persuasive arguments across diverse and complex business situations
- Demonstrated track record of growth with 5+ years of similar experience at a consumer products company (preferably in HABA)
- AC Nielsen (and related data) skills and excellent analytical skills
- Self-motivated individual that can manage a home office position
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA an asset
- Up to 15% travel (i.e., customer meetings, sales meetings, etc.)
