This position requires a working level of French.
Business Manager will work to expand the reach of the Award into all regions of Canada.They will recruit potential Award deliverers, national and regional operators, and activity providers and bring them into licensed partnerships with Award Canada.They will be completely aware of the benefits of experiential learning and will ensure that potential partners understand the benefits of adopting the Award. Business Manager will also be familiar with any special project that involves Award Centre recruitment and will work to implement effective delivery of such initiatives.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Business Manager is primarily responsible for:
·Researching and identifying potential Award deliverers, operating partners, and activity providers
·Recruiting and establishing contact with potential partners
·Implementing licensing process with Award Centres, Operators and Activity Providers (preparing licenses and statements of fees)
·Ensuring proper account set up and record keeping
·Preparing appropriate reports
·Ensuring smooth transition of accounts to Account Managers
·Coordinating recruitment strategies with special projects and initiatives as necessary.
·Maintain a high level of customer service.
Other Tasks
·Identify gaps in current practice which will assist the development of relevant support resources.
·Logistical support for regional and nationwide campaign / events in their geographical area, including activities and events to celebrate the achievement of Award recipients.
·Provide additional support services as required.

Work Conditions
·35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with some flexibility required on or around the lead up to key events.
·Must be willing to travel occasionally on behalf of the Award, sometimes with overnight stays.
·Able to work on a computer for long periods of time.
·Required to spend long hours concentrating which will require attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Required to meet several deadlines which may cause stress.
·Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
