Job Description
Territory: Montreal, Laval, Basses Laurentides, Hautes Laurentides, Abitibi Témiscamingue, Outaouais, Mauricie, Canton de l'Est, Estrie, Centre du Québec.


The Territory Manager will be responsible for reaching sales goals for designated products and dealer performance within their area. (See territory above)


The incumbent will focus on developing and maintaining strong client relations. The first responsibility will be to maintain regular contact with all business partners within the assigned territory, provide information and training on the products, and support the independent dealers in all marketing aspects of the complete Husqvarna line of products within the dealer’s specifics markets. Overnight travel 60% depending on season.


Essential Duties:


  • Assesses competitive activities and strategies
  • Assist with key open houses, field days and industry events, as needed (including weekend)
  • Prospect open areas with the assigned territory for potential customers
  • Effective use of tools provided such as CRM/ Sales Pro for the planning and managing every dealer visit
  • Increase of sales year over year and truly manage the territory
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required
  • Group training presentations
  • Provide feedback to Regional Sales Manager as needed.
  • Demo all equipment from heavy wheeled goods, tractors and Zero turns to chainsaws
  • Position requires extensive travel 60% of the time away from home with overnight stays expected
  • Implement tactical as well as strategic initiatives to maintain and grow our brand position in the marketplace
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication
  • Respond effectively to dealer inquiries regarding various aspects of our products,
  • Visit dealers on a regular basis and take care of all issues to ensure good business relations
  • Able to be a positive ambassador for the organization
  • Heavy lifting is required at times in moving of equipment and trailer maintenance


Qualifications:


  • A quick learner with attention to detail is a must
  • Experience in a related field with similar products
  • Have a Passport for travel outside of Canada
  • Solid familiarity with MS office and CRM/Sales PRO systems
  • Proven track records in sales, preferably in a dealer network environment
  • Bachelor or college degree; with 4-6 years minimum of sales experience with some technical knowledge of company products.
  • Have and maintain a Valid driver’s license
  • Self-motivated, driven, available for a substantial amount of traveling on a weekly basis
  • Effective communication skills, along with proven Time Management skills
