If, like HealthPartners Canada, you believe in creating healthier employees, healthier Canadians, and healthier charities, then we have the opportunity for you!
HealthPartners Canada is currently seeking a bilingual (French and English) Regional Manager for Quebec and Eastern Canada to help manage campaigns, business development, and ultimately increase the funds we raise on behalf of health charities.
HealthPartners is a collaboration of 17 of Canada’s most impactful health charities, who deliver education, patient programs, research and advocacy that support more than 95% of Canadians. We offer easy, engaging workplace campaigns that enhance corporate purpose, culture and reputation and share the proceeds with health charities efficiently and transparently. Our goal is to connect workplaces and employees to one another and to the health charities we serve, who in turn help ensure that every person in Canada has support for their health.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Development, the responsibilities of the Regional Manager of Quebec and Eastern Canada are to:
- Maintain accurate and timely data in HealthPartners’ CRM.
- Contribute to communications and marketing efforts to achieve HealthPartners' strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective implementation of strategies and initiatives.
- Contribute to the profitability analysis of fundraising campaigns and identify strategies to improve them.
- Provide leadership and guidance to direct report(s), fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Identify donor retention opportunities.
- Attend events – both in person and virtually – that support workplace giving campaigns.
- Grow the territory for which they are accountable through the execution of HealthPartners’ Business Development strategic and operational plans.
- Generate comprehensive reports and insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Diversify and establish balance across industries in both the public and private sectors in the accounts and Partners solicited, secured and managed.
- Manage assigned territory, which includes leading workplace giving campaigns for each account, stewarding existing accounts and donors, managing partnerships, and securing new accounts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Director.
- Represent HealthPartners at networking events, conferences, and other gatherings to raise awareness, forge new connections, and promote collaboration opportunities.
- Be a relentless multi-directional ambassador for HealthPartners, our membership collective of 17 of Canada’s largest health charities, and all Partners, accounts and donors.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Quebec stakeholders (from donors and accounts, to QC stakeholders of HealthPartners’ health charity member organizations), ensuring their ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
- Speak publicly on behalf of HealthPartners (in person and virtually) to include giving informative presentations, introducing volunteer speakers, and delivering educational talks.
- Contribute to the development of regional strategy, aligning account management, workplace giving campaigns, and new business development efforts with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Relationship Management - ability to build long-term trusting relationships with members, staff, donors and clients.
- Team management - ability to collaborate, motivate, and oversee day-to-day activities of team members to achieve agreed upon results.
- Familiar with the use of and integration of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (specifically, the organization is currently using Andar) into day-to-day operations to track activities.
- Problem-solving and issue management skills.
- Networking – providing excellent service to internal and external clients as well as contacts; developing relationships to build a powerful network of ambassadors for HealthPartners.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving business development and achieving monetary goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite to create documents and supporting materials.
- Project management skills in meeting deadlines, managing resources, interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
Location:
This position works remote with the exception of attendance at events, stakeholder meetings, speaking engagements, and as otherwise needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
Language:
Fluent in French and English verbal and written is required. (Public speaking engagements will be required in French.)
Term:
10 months, full-time.
If you believe in the critical role health charities play and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, we'd love to hear from you!
