Software Development Manager - Eastern Canada

If so, read on. My client, a high-growth product company building IoT solutions is looking for a Software Development Manager to join them. This company is one of the fastest-growing software shops in Canada and build innovative products that help the environment.

This is a permanent role and can be remote-based out of Eastern Canada.

What you'll do:

• Own code delivery and ensure quality products on time and within budget
• Act as people manager of a Development team of 6 - 7 direct reports; provide training, mentorship and career progressing opportunities
• Work with other leaders to build and define a product roadmap
• Get involved in hiring, onboarding, and retention of skilled tech talent for your teams

What you'll need:

• Experience with enterprise applications in React, Nodejs and microservices
• Experience with IoT solutions is an asset
• Experience managing and building up teams in a fast-paced environment
• Experience at a high-growth tech company required
• At least 8 years as a hands on Development professional; minimum 2 years in People Leadership a must
