Job Description

At First Frontier Logistics, we offer a variety of services including Truckload (DryVan/Reefer/Decks - OTR), Less than Truckload (DryVan/Reefer/Decks - LTL), across North America. We are looking to add to our team, as we continue to expand our business and grow. We’re excited to announce we’re expanding our sales team at our Woodbridge, ON head office. The ideal candidate is a motivated and passionate solution-based transportation professional, who is committed to success and who is determined to reach their goals. We are looking for an experienced Logistics Sales Manager, (1 year) that has sold over the road transportation services/solutions for a 3PL.


As a Sale Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include prospecting, building and fostering strong relationships with new clients. Researching market trends, and sharing the services of First Frontier Logistics to qualified prospects to earn their business. You will also be expected to work closely and effectively with your colleagues (sales and operations team) to achieve your own individual, and company goals.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prospect leads and perform cold calls to build pipeline

• We have a lead generation program, but also expect the sales manager to prospects on their own

• Strong account management skills to retain and grow accounts

• Negotiation with customers

• Develop and execute plans to achieve corporate revenue goals

• Work closely with the operational staff to ensure customers’ needs and expectations are met

• Meet or exceed sales quota as defined by the company

• Seek solutions with customers in the event of a service failures and come up with action plans

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management

• Contribute to the expansion sales strategy and the opportunity to build and shape the corporateculture

• Perform core-selling activities, including sales call preparation, execution of sales calls and post-call analysis and reporting

• Updated passport to cross the border and attend conferences in the USA.
