Account Manager - Toronto
This position reports to: Account Supervisor
Salary range: $50,000- $55,000 based on experience
The Account Manager serves as the direct link between the client and agency, managing day-to-day affairs and ensuring client satisfaction.
Working closely with the Account Supervisor and Account Director, you will help manage internal Behaviour teams to deliver projects on-time and on-budget for our clients. You will be called on to also create internal creative briefs, manage / thoughtfully interrogate /distill and share client feedback, set up meetings to present the project details to the client, and more.
Our successful Account Executives have:
·3+ years advertising agency experience in a client-facing position.
·Excellent communications skills and the ability to clearly present information verbally.
·Ability to work within a team structure and the assertiveness to seek out counsel – or provide it when needed.
·Positive attitude, professional appearance, solid communication skills, initiative, and organized.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook – Google Suite knowledge is a plus.
·Knowledge of communications, finance, and marketing as appropriate; ability to direct budgets.
·Ability to deal with designers, producers, media and other specialists; maturity to handle independent client contact; understanding of media needs.
·Knowledge of general business practices.
·Demonstrate a clear understanding and interest in client's business and the work produced.
·Demonstrate capability for independent client contact; maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure they are updated on relevant account activity.
·The self-discipline to maintain familiarity with and keep up with changes in the nature of the clients' products, business culture and competition.

·Manage time effectively, pay attention to detail, and set priorities for specific assignments.
·Understand budgets and manage campaign costs, while keeping records of all financial details.
·Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns or learn how.
·Think creatively and strategically when formulating marketing strategies and developing briefs.
·Effectively communicate direction to cross-functional teams and present campaign plans to clients for approval or modification.
·Identify opportunities for further client account development and help to secure new business.
· Manage and lead meetings with clients and other agency staff.
