Typical work activities


An Account Manager provide a vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding and diverse and involves:

  • Promote job vacancies via paid media, social media and other platforms
  • Headhunt suitable candidates utilizing candidate databases and networks
  • Develop deep understanding of clients' business, industry and culture
  • Attract business using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking
  • Manage candidate applications, interviews, tests and references
  • Remain current on best practices for recruitment selection techniques and programs
  • Advise clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression
  • Finalize arrangements between client and selected candidate(s)
  • Build and develop client relationships
