Job Description
Kate Somerville is looking for an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract Account Coordinator (Toronto) to provide administrative support and coordination for the team-level work processes of the Sales and Education team. The candidate will assist in deploying category selling strategies and priorities to team through effective team communications and administrative support. This is a field sales role and requires to be in store from Tuesday to Saturday.


Role preferably to be based out of Canada (Toronto)


Primary Responsibilities


  • Assist each account with inventory management assessing and communicating areas of opportunity with manager.
  • Support Director on coordinating field visits.
  • Maintain superior knowledge of brand and product information.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with account personnel.
  • Understand and execute the territory plan and promotional calendar within all accounts.
  • Maintain a schedule of 100% demand generation (selling) in stores, Tuesday – Saturday.
  • Regularly communicate with manager on territory needs, notable happenings, and competitive sales trends
  • Review VM renderings and ensure flawless execution in stores.
  • Exemplify highest standard of sales and customer service skills.
  • Adhere to corporate policies and deadlines in a timely, concise manner.
  • Collaborate with manager to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded.


Required Qualifications


  • Physical requirements include:
  • Ability to drive distances up to 3-4 hours
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Driven, tenacious, and accountable
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build positive business partnerships
  • Lift up to 25 lbs for product samples/event kits
  • Stand for minimum of 5 hours time in stores/events
  • Proficiency in Microsoft™ Office programs
  • Proven ability to drive sales and provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills — verbal, non-verbal and written
  • 1-3 years in Retail Account Management preferred or 3 years equivalent experience in Cosmetic/Aesthetic/Beauty industry
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Able to work evenings and weekends, including some overnight travel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational/time management skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills


The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 (CAD). The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.


This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary quarterly bonus plan, based on personal retail sales performance and overall company results.
