Job Description

Our client is looking for a highly motivated Regional Software Sales Manager to develop their business in Canada. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing software company looking to expand its team in North America.


We seek an outstanding new business hunter with 5+ years of enterprise software sales and Channel Partner management experience, who wants an opportunity for career growth and the chance to succeed within an entrepreneurial and innovative organization.


You will be responsible for growing the Company’s business revenue by building and managing a strong network of Reseller and System Integrator Partners. Some direct sales to end-user organizations are also expected.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing metrics to measure ROI from partnerships
  • Sourcing new partners and building strong and collaborative relationships with them to create an indirect sales channel.
  • Achieving monthly sales targets by identifying and developing new customers.
  • Maintaining and deepening relationships with existing partners.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction as well as upsell and cross-sell potential within existing customers.
  • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor feedback.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • You have a strong experience in consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior-level relationships.
  • You have prior experience in dealing with Resellers, Managed Service Providers, and Distributors.
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast-paced environments
  • You possess solid expertise in Direct Sales and Enterprise Sales.
  • Experience selling Citrix and/or VMware technologies or working for a software vendor selling SaaS solutions is a plus.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in National Sales would be a strong advantage.
  • You have solid experience in a regional role ideally including experience covering Canada.
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
  • You have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within a Sales (B2C) or Partnerships & Alliances role, ideally within the IT Software industry.
