- Effectively represent Wolters Kluwer within the industry and at trade shows/conferences, as required, by developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting products, industry trends, and general business and financial acumen through various sources and initiatives
- Learn and maintain a deep understanding of Wolters Kluwer TeamMate solutions, customers, and the Internal Audit industry, as a whole, by participating in formal/informal training sessions and self-directed learning; maintain a knowledgebase of all processes, systems, and applications utilized within the department
- Conduct lead generation objectives through outreach to potential clients for sales (e.g., Marketing provided leads/lists, cold calls, emails, business intelligence lists, etc.) to develop and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities
- Appropriately address and escalate any/all discovered circumstances of potential risk, to management or to the customer, and/or customer dissatisfaction with a sense of urgency
- Participate in day-to-day organizational and team activities, and/or special projects, which will help drive efficiency, in order to improve revenue and profitability for TeamMate
- Appropriately log, document, and update all sales activities within Salesforce, and other required systems, in a compliant, detailed and timely manner
- Qualify and close prospective new/existing customers by developing an understanding of customer business needs and risk/compliance challenges; leverage knowledge of software and integrated solutions to identify sales opportunities; demonstrate product solutions via Microsoft Teams and/or other web-based applications
- Achieve direct selling objectives by leveraging product and industry knowledge to sell software solutions and professional services through cold calling and other direct lead generation activities
- Work with existing client accounts to generate add-on sales, increase product penetration and provide account management
- Work in partnership with sales management, account managers and marketing to achieve/exceed total sales objectives
- Effectively collaborate with team members and management to improve processes and drive revenue/customer growth for the Canadian Sales Region
- Handle inbound/conduct outbound sales calls to generate revenue and/or profit margin in mid-sized accounts
- 2 or more years of B2B, inside/telephonic or virtual sales with software/SaaS product solutions
- Fluent bilingual French/English language skills (Native or full professional speaking, reading and writing ability)
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM application
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams)
- Experience in a quota carrying sales role and meeting/exceeding sales targets and goals
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Multi-tasking—ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and acts with a sense of urgency
- Fast learner and ability to adapt to changing priorities, customer demands and/or market landscape
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with a wide range of people at all levels of an organization
