Sales Account Manager – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Remote, Canada

The Role

Flō Energy Solutions invites you to bring your sales expertise to our team as a Sales Account Manager. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for both prospective and existing accounts, promoting our distinctive DOAS+ Adaptive Multi-Path HVAC units (MPU).

Your objective will be to unearth innovative ways to optimize our client's store environments and enterprises, growing MPU sales by attracting new customers and programs. Utilizing Strategic Selling concepts, you'll ensure the long-term value of accounts, propelling Systems Flō up the Buyer-Seller hierarchy as per the Miller Heiman’s LAMP concept.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Flō’s products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients and establish Flō’s MPUs as the basis of design for prospective clients.
  • Establish a growing sales pipeline.
  • Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic account plans and ensure KPIs are being met.
  • Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs on new and assigned accounts.
  • Travel to job sites, manufacturing facility, and customer locations as required/applicable.
  • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any updates and communicating volume, obligations, and timing to the business.
  • Leverage any and all Flō resources and team members to build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.

The Person

  • Experienced in customer negotiations.
  • Experienced with MS Office Suite including PPT.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC rooftop systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales and/or customer facing consultative roles.
  • Valid passport: able to travel across North America.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experienced in developing and delivering presentations.
  • Post-secondary education in engineering (preferably mechanical) or in another technical field.
  • Project management experience is required.
