The Position:
We are currently seeking a passionate, sales-driven leader to maximize growth and advance market share for the Samsung brand regionally within Canada. Reporting to the Director, Client Services the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for providing leadership, coaching and guidance to the sales and operational activities of the Samsung Field Marketing team.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term operations of a geographic region. As a Regional Sales Manager you will often be responsible for setting and adjusting sales goals based on deep knowledge of individual store selling patterns. Additionally, you will be responsible for influencing the training of managers and retail associates within the region.
Location: Greater Montreal Area
What you’re responsible for:
  • Develop and manage the go-to-market strategy for the regional team that ensures attainment of all KPI’s & metrics that impact performance. i.e. sales, trainings, store visits, expense management, turnover, etc.
  • Create a winning sales culture across a regional field team through innovative and exciting go-to-market strategies and tactics
  • Ensure all team interactions with retail partners are driven towards increasing sales and market share for Samsung
  • Responsible for the field completing and participating in all operational activities, field visit reports, operational audits, store visits, national training events
  • Liaise with Human Resources to ensure issues are managed according to company direction and process
  • Build plans for training and development of the team in collaboration with the Learning and Development department
  • Communicate and report on the effectiveness of product launches and special promotions while executing on the launch
  • Build and cultivate relationships across all levels of carrier and national retailer organizations driving influence and mind share for Samsung products and services
  • Responsible for the succession planning and performance management of the team; i.e. People Pyramid, Progressive Performance management
  • Partner with recruiters to ensure alignment with role requirements, organizational objectives and strategy
  • Supervise the daily activities of the Field Sales Managers providing direction, coaching, and mentorship
What to expect:
  • You will travel frequently

To be successful:
  • Minimum of 5 Years in multi-unit retail management and/or field management
  • 2+ years’ experience in the wireless industry
  • You lead by example maintaining OSL values, encouraging the development of your team and coworkers, and ensuring peak performance of an evolving and growing organization
