Regional Sales Rep. – Canada
Reporting to Manager, Sales
Location: Remote Position in Canada with Travel

Objective:
IDS GeoRadar, NA has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Regional Sales Rep. as part of the IBIS Team. The IBIS systems are used to monitor ground movements in potentially unstable slopes to determine the risk of failure of that specific slope.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Demo hardware and software in person at mine sites.
- Delivering technical sales presentations to clients remotely and in person.
- Contributing information to sales strategies by assessing current product results, monitoring competitive products, assessing needs to be filled and analyzing customer reactions.
- Communicating to clients clearly and addressing their concerns and resolving any conflicts that arise
- Create and maintain leads and opportunities with Salesforce.
- Hitting budgeted quarterly and annual targets for hardware, software, and services sales within North America.
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients.
- Sourcing, negotiating and closing business contracts with existing and new clients.
- Respond to requests for quotations from clients. Prepare quotes accordingly.
Required Skills:
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time in North America. Passport required.
- Experience in the Mining industry, either working at a mine site or selling to mining clients.
- Ability to obtain MSHA and similar safety certifications required for mine site visits.
- Experience delivering presentations remotely through platforms like MS Teams or similar.
- SAP and Salesforce experience a definite plus.
- Experience managing high value clients.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline like Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geophysics, Survey, Computer Science, etc.
Preferred Skills:
- Challenger training familiarity.
- B2B sales experience in a long sales cycle, managing highly technical sales.
- Understanding of InSAR principles and theories
- Contract negotiation experience.
- Understanding of networking and communication between various devices in a network and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with radar technology for slope monitoring.
