Our Opportunity


The Regional Training Lead is responsible for providing training to Restaurant Teams and Owners on operations matters including profitability, Guest service, products, equipment, standards and management practices. The RTL is an expert on all Tim Hortons Restaurant Operations topics both at the 4-wall, tactical level and the strategic, enterprise level.


This anticipated regional scope of this position is: Quebec


Roles And Responsibilities


  • Analyze data (SOS, Guest Feedback, REV, profitability) to identify operational opportunities and apply problem solving methodology to create training solutions
  • Develop training materials, including trainee and instructor guides, job aids, assessments and support tools
  • Prepare, organize and deliver all aspects of large-scale training sessions to Restaurant teams
  • Work independently to manage schedule to meet KPIs
  • Develop and manage relationships with Restaurant teams and owners
  • Deliver targeted in-restaurant training to small groups on tactical operations procedures and best practices
  • Create and deliver reporting on KPI progress including training completion and satisfaction
  • Analyze data (SOS, Guest Feedback, REV, profitability) to assess effectiveness of training and adjust strategy accordingly


Required Skills


  • Strong written and oral communication and ability to translate technical and or complicated materials into effective training materials
  • 3+ years of Restaurant and Franchisee operations experience
  • Tableau dashboards, SOS, SMG, OnBrand 360
  • In-restaurant operational procedures
  • Must be fluent in both English and French
  • Metrics and reporting tools
  • Proficient in all Microsoft excel tools (excel, ppt, word)
  • District manager routines, recruitment and retention
  • Expert operations knowledge on all:
  • Inventory management, production, Guest service, equipment, P&L management (F&P, labour, opex), management routines, Team training
  • Enterprise strategy:
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Minimum 1-month management of Tim Hortons Restaurant experience (training provided upon hire)
  • Time management skills and ability to schedule, organize and execute on all logistics of event management
