Role: Director of Sales

This evolution allows us to offer customers a full suite of asset-based transportation including over-the-road, cross-border, intermodal LTL and TL, drayage and transload, warehousing, distribution, logistics services and final mile.
Who we’re looking for:
Fastfrate Group is looking for an experiences and dedicated Vice President of Sales to join our Woodbridge, Ontario team. The successful hire will be responsible for expanding our sales team, growing overall sales performance, profitable achievement of sales goals, and aligning sales objectives with company business strategy.
What you’ll do:
- Follow all company policies, ethics and company procedures
- Manage sales teams and maintain sales operations.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Monitor the market and competitor products and activities
- Reduce churn
- Set quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Develop, execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
- Provide detailed sales forecasting.
- Bring outstanding leadership to the organization by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent. This includes growing our sales team.
- Motivate the sales teams to achieve their goals.
- Outline and manage sales budgets.
- Optimize current sales strategies and sales processes.
- Deliver quarterly sales projections.
- Negotiate contracts and rate agreements
- Perform other duties as required
Must Haves:
- Knowledge of LTL intermodal
- Detail and deadline oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of costing
- Excellent Leadership skills
- Strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products, and the market
- A Master’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.
- Strong MS Office skills
- Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Creative and effective problem solving ability
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
- Strong customer service focus
- Proven work experience as a Sales Leader
- Strong time management skills
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques
- Great strategic planning, organizational and creative thinking skills
