Our leader in this role will be a strategic and technical international trade professional, with experience to deliver effective global import and export operations, in a multi-entity structure.


Regulatory management, Government Agency and Trade Chain Partner collaboration are important for compliance and executional excellence, in our Apparel and Footwear business, operating under an onshore, and offshore manufacturing and distribution model.


Will liaise and serve in a facilitating capacity to support achieving our global growth targets, with a proactive approach to risk and optimal international trade programme management.


What You’ll Do:


  • Lead our trade operation activities, for accurate and consistent application with company policies, procedures, to minimize Supply Chain disruption and compliance exposure.
  • Provides risk analysis for specific projects and subcontracts relative to the customs examinations, shipment holds and relevant mitigating action plans.
  • Lead identification, assessment, and validation of trade data, for transition from manual to systematic processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to lead the adoption of regulations and government systems changes.
  • Provide strategic inputs to leadership to ensure appropriate and effective deployment of programs and controls to enable monetary predictability.
  • Build positive relationship with the Global Supply Chain, Internal Control, Finance/Tax, Legal, Sourcing, government agencies and industry associations to ensure alignment on operations, programs and pivotal initiatives.


Expected Outcomes:


  • Define, deliver, and measure financial targets, from trade programs.
  • Comprehensive and consistent trade program management, risk assessment reporting and execution.
  • Deliver robust international trade operation processes and policies for regulatory compliance.
  • Build and leverage relationships with internal & external stakeholders.


Let's Talk About You:


  • Skilled at identifying gaps and presenting fact-based solutions for compliance and sustainability.
  • In-depth knowledge of FTA, Duty Deferral, Broker and Partner Management, Supply Chain Security and Social/Financial regulations
  • 10 years Global Trade experience, preferred in the apparel and footwear manufacturing and distribution.
  • Demonstrate high level of skills for enterprise thinking in a dynamic environment.
  • Preferred certification CCS, CTCS, CSS, License Customs Broker
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, International Trade Policies
  • Management of multi-geographical relationships and cultural expectations.
  • Familiar with Customs Brokers, Customs Systems, mode of shipping, Incoterms, and international regulations
  • Advance knowledge and experience in, processes, trade data governance, performance management, digitization, and risk management
  • Excellent computer literacy skills and skills in MS Office Suite, D365, Trade Tools.
