Job Type: Full Time

Function: Finance

Address: 160 Bloor Street East, 11th Floor, Toronto, ON

Working Model: Hybrid

At Sephora Canada, we’re passionate about finding and sharing beauty in the world. Our constant innovation, our ability to see and lead trends, and our focus on providing an outstanding customer experience make us the most-loved beauty community and top of mind for every Canadian. We find beauty in our communities, in our differences, our experiences, and in the spirit of our employees.

About The Team

Our finance and strategy teams balance the bottom line with strategic initiatives, budget priorities, and revenue streams. The dynamic and passionate financial professionals here keep their eyes on our numbers to report, plan, and advise—to act as partners to the business and keep our amazing growth on track.

What You'll Do

This role spans the full breadth of our omni business. It plays a role in collaborating with functional leaders across the business to understand priorities and how they ladder up to how we plan, support and operate our business. Providing key inputs to business planning, store operations, and our distribution partners to ensure we are prepared to provide the best service to our clients.

We are seeking a motivated, curious, and inspiring leader with a strong analytical mindset to join the team. Using your expertise in sales forecasting, you will lead the function to drive accurate forecasting, identify market trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the North American and Global teams.
  • Lead and develop the team, promoting continuous learning, and encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Generate accurate sales forecasts using models, historical data, and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Understand trend drivers such as traffic, launches, competition, and marketing.
  • Analyze sales performance, explaining significant variances and trends.
  • Advise the executive team on sales forecasting, market trends, and provide insights and recommendations for sales strategies and business growth opportunities.
  • Support executive reports and facilitate business reviews with stakeholders across Sephora and LVMH

What You’ll Bring

  • Familiarity with NPD market share reporting is an asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships and motivate individuals throughout the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the retail industry, including retail metrics, trends, consumer behaviour, and competition.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking, translating insights into concrete strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools: Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau).
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, successfully managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex concepts to partners at all levels.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, MBA, CPA, CBV, or advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategy, and analytics, in a leadership role focused on sales forecasting, market analysis, and business insights.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE

  • And of course, there’s our incredible swag – free product gifts throughout the year and tons of discounts with our brand partners.
  • Employee Assistance Program services for those times you need extra support.
  • You’ll be part of a unique culture and family of passionate and inspiring individuals.
  • You’ll have access to the global community of luxury group LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) for endless career opportunities.
  • You’ll work alongside the best talent in the industry – people you’ll be proud to work with.
  • Holidays, time off, functional Friday hours and flexibility to support work-life balance.
  • Benefits you can mix and match, depending on your needs.
  • Access to our Well-Being@Sephora program to support your mental, financial, physical, and social well-being
  • You'll have the opportunity to support causes through our Gift of Giving Program (matched donations through Benevity), donations of funds for volunteer time and offering and much more.

Sephora Canada strongly believes in equal opportunity when it comes to employment and advancement. Our goal is to be inclusive, diverse, and representative of the communities where we work while creating an environment where every person can belong, grow, and build a beautiful career. This commitment applies to all candidates and employees regardless of race, ethnicity, citizenship, creed, place of origin, religion, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, family status, marital status, disability, age, and/or any other diversity dimensions.
