Job Description

MPA are currently partnering with a leading insurance company in Quebec to source an IT helpdesk technician to join the team. This presents an excellent opportunity to work alongside cutting-edge technologies in order to provide support to the broader business. Bilingualism is required for an inclusive user experience.


What you’ll do

  • Document solutions to recurring problems in the knowledge base, promoting self-help among users.
  • Delivering Level 1 support to users, addressing incidents, and handling service requests.
  • Ensure all incidents and service requests are resolved promptly, adhering to the defined SLAs.
  • Escalate incidents to Level 2 support and efficiently coordinate resolutions and communication with users. Actively support the IT department by completing a diverse range of tasks to facilitate its operations.

What you need

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bilingual proficiency (spoken, written, and understood) to ensure inclusive support for English-speaking employees.
  • Must have a full driving license and be able to travel between offices in Quebec as needed.
  • Possess a user-centric attitude with a commitment to delivering top-quality service.
  • AEC, DEC, or equivalent certification at a higher level.
