Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Junior Technical Support Specialist to join our Global Technology team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, while also demonstrating the capacity to work independently.
Role Overview:
As a Junior Technical Support Specialist, you will collaborate closely with elite engineering and operational units to maintain stable systems and tools. You will offer front-line assistance to various departments and locations while also engaging with developers to support new services and address emergent challenges. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career within a pivotal role that contributes to the success of renowned digital experiences. Key responsibilities include:
- Utilize imaging and deployment tools (similar to SCCM) to ensure uniform workstation and application deployment.
- Present timely and innovative solutions to intricate problems.
- Contribute to the management of backup and restoration systems.
- Oversee day-to-day administration of our Windows server environment, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and associated applications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support, collaborating with existing IT personnel to diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related issues on both PC and macOS workstations, as well as infrastructure hardware.
- Resolve network connectivity concerns, including VPN support.
- Exhibit composure in high-pressure scenarios, managing concurrent projects effectively.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive procedural documentation and user-centric issue resolution guides.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with server and PC workstation hardware, software, and fundamental security principles.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English and French.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, MCSE certification, or equivalent practical experience.
