Description
We are currently looking for a talented and experienced IT Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our client's IT department. This includes networking, IT infrastructure, information services, development projects, help desk, and cyber security. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring IT systems function seamlessly, are secure, and align with business goals.
Location: On Site 5 days/wk
Responsibilities

• Preserve assets, information security, and control structures
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner
• Provide support to the help desk team and handle escalated issues
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Oversee and manage all IT-related projects
• Manage the IT staff by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
• In-depth understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT management role within a manufacturing facility.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
• Superior project management and team leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations
