The Internal Controls Senior IT Analyst - SOX Compliance assists management in performing SOX compliance efforts. The Internal Audit function is responsible for conducting testing to support the organization’s SOX 404 process.
This role will be an integral part of the Internal Audit organization which reports up to the VP of Internal Audit. Note that this role will primarily focus on execution of testing to support the SOX 404 process.
Job Responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) compliance for the Company, with a focus on IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), and applicable systems implementations to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
• Complete the annual controls testing plan, with a focus on automated controls but may include testing of key reports, SOC report review, and business process controls as required
• Identify control deficiencies and ensure timely communication to Manager, SOX Compliance
• Attend & lead process walkthrough meetings with control owners and external auditors

Qualifications:

• Experience with auditing various IT systems, including ERP systems, databases, and networks
• Professional demeanor with ability to interact with all levels of management
• Proficiency with Excel, Visio, Word and other MS Office applications
• Experience in testing IT General Controls and IT Automated Controls, with sound understanding of IT infrastructure and applications
• Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), PCAOB auditing standards and COBIT
• Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent certification required
• 3+ years in a public accounting firm or public company with internal or external ICFR IT audit experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of external auditor requirements and expectations for SOX ICFR compliance specifically as related to ITGCs and ITACs and system implementations
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to analyze data effectively, efficiently and accurately
• Big 4 accounting firms IT audit experience or equivalent experience preferred
