Position title: IT Technical Integrator
Location: Montreal (hybrid)
Reports to: Manager, IT Shared Services Architecture
Reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure Architecture and Integration, your role as an IT Technical Integrator is to be responsible for the delivery of fully integrated technical solutions that meet project objectives, delivery timelines, and architectural direction. To do so, the incumbent assumes the overall responsibility for all technical aspects of projects or initiatives execution, from detailed design through hand-off to operations. The Technical Integrator can also be involved in problem resolution.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Ensure technical coordination/management of projects implementation as per defined architecture and design.
- Interface with and bring together as a technical lead the various technical/team leads, architects and project members to ensure the overall integrity of the technical solutions.
- Contribute to the Infrastructure architecture, design and delivery of the projects, initiatives, and activities identified as priorities for IT or the lines of business.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to evaluate high-level costs and effort for new IT opportunity assessments or technology and Cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Coordinate and lead Mergers and Acquisitions as well as divestitures activities as the single point of contact for the selling or buying company, answering their questions, dispatching requests to the appropriate IT teams and ensuring progress of technical activities across the different teams.
- Stay informed of technology trends and innovations, allowing you to propose the best solutions for Domtar.
- Define, document, and recommend technical solutions that meet business requirements and are aligned with key architecture principles.

Professional Experience/Qualifications
- Good knowledge of infrastructure technologies related to Cloud, Virtualization, ERP systems, databases, storage, backup, networking, system administration (Windows and Linux/Unix), load balancing, Web services, End Point technologies and other core services such as Active Directory and M365.
- Good knowledge of ITIL processes (Change, Incident and Problem management).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT
- College or university degree in an IT related or business management field of study, or equivalent experience.
- General knowledge of Security, authentication services and mechanisms.
- Good knowledge and past experience on domain and tenant migrations.
You must successfully complete a selection process that includes interviews, aptitude tests (for some positions) and pre-employment verifications.
