Job Title: Service Desk Technician

Duties/Job Purpose:

We are seeking a customer oriented IT Technician to join our team as a full time employee. The IT Technician performs end-user support by solving incidents or answering requests through the Service Desk, by phone, by e-mail as well as in person. The scope of this role includes desktops, laptops, fixed phones, cell phones, printers.

Key Job Functions:

• Cell phone and landline configuration
• Receiving, Updating, Closing Service desk tickets
• Perform and support software installations
• Imaging and deploying new computers
• Provide 2nd level end-user onsite support
• Troubleshooting Computer and Network Issues

Skills:

Key Skill Requirements:

• All applicants must be able to obtain a Canadian security clearance and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Registration Program and ITAR.
• Familiar with a Ticketing System to open and close requests
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a customer-facing IT Helpdesk position
• Bilingualism is required: English and French
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Windows 10, Office 2016, Active Directory 2012/2016

Education:

Bachelor's degree not required, but more focused on hands-on experience with Networking, Troubleshooting, ticketing system.
