Job Title: 1 st Line IT Engineer


Salary: £21,000 per annum


Location: Bolton Head Office


Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week


Contract Type: Permanent

 A Bit More About The Opportunity


As our 1 st Line IT Engineer you will own, monitor, and resolve service desk incidents, problems, and service requests by investigating a range of technical issues across all areas of the business. Your key focus will be on providing fixes, escalating where necessary, assisting the support team and supporting the general delivery of services in our large estate of offices and family assessment centres.


This is a busy role, that will allow you to grow your skills in a complex organisation. Although experience would be preferred, it is not essential and we will offer on the job training.


Initially, the majority of this role will be primarily telephone-based offering remote support using connectivity tools such as ConnectWise Automate.

In return, we'll train you on Active Directory, MDM and provide other technical training in printers, telephony systems, file permissions and application configuration.

Desirable


  • Good working knowledge of current software packages and operating system
  • Good knowledge of working within an ITIL framework
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft products from Windows 10, MS Office, etc
  • Basic knowledge of IT hardware
