Job Description
Position: Customer Service Representative
Job role
We are one of Canada’s leading Foreign Currency Exchange companies. We are seeking an individual for the position of Customer Services Representative (CSR). As a CSR you will be required to work in a fast paced environment, as we experience high influx of walk in customers. Hence over the counter dealing has to be fluid, accurate whilst ensuring that each customer in given an exclusive and personalized solution in a pleasant manner.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have prior customer service experience in similar settings (preferably in a Currency Exchange office) and are seeking to take on more responsibility. Compensation for this position would be commensurate with experience.
Major job responsibilities include:
• Assisting clients with inquiries and providing them pertinent solutions for according to their needs.
• Providing a pleasant customer service experience to clients in accordance with company standards.
• Processing foreign currency transactions for clients by bank draft, wire transfer, and cash.
• Cross-selling other appropriate Interchange Financial products and services
• Balancing and reconciling cash flow at the start & end of the shift.
• Assisting with opening & closing the branch.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum one year of prior work experience in retail banking or other foreign exchange experience.
• A dedicated, professional individual committed to industry-leading customer service standards.
• Must be friendly, energetic & enthusiastic, with a professional appearance.
• Must have strong communication skills and be able to thrive in a team environment.
• Computer literacy is a must.
• Comfortable with basic numerical calculations.
• Must be a high school graduate, University or College degree an asset.
• A background check will be required for this position.



Position: Analyst
We are one of Canada’s leading Foreign Currency Exchange companies. We are seeking an individual for the position of Analyst. As an Analyst you will be required to work in a fast paced environment and be in a habit of research on global affairs, capital markets and market trends, analyzing the data/ information and making recommendations.
This position will perform the role of monitoring and assessing the market to identify market-making opportunities, execute trades for foreign exchange products, and complete all post-trade execution processes.
Main job responsibilities include:
• Analysing key industry challenges facing global financial markets and potential scenarios shaping the future landscape of the financial markets industry.
• Assessing operational risks assumed by or arising from financial market activities and determine if mitigating actions need to be taken to limit financial and reputational losses.
• Explaining developments in trading technology, platforms and algorithms that enhance the effectiveness of trade execution and recommend improvements for trading technology solutions.
• Monitoring and assessing foreign exchange markets to spot trading opportunities and formulate trading strategies.
• Monitoring daily profit and loss and positions in the trading book and formulating hedging strategies to manage associated financial risks.
• Price and value foreign exchange products and foreign exchange derivatives to provide bid/offer price quotes to clients and counterparties.
• Trade foreign exchange products and foreign exchange derivatives in the secondary market based on client orders, bank and financial institution's trading and hedging strategy, and market-making activities.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum two years of prior work experience in in a similar position.
• Computer literacy is a must.
