Bilingual It Technician - 9 Mo. Contract

We partnered with a company that is looking to hire an IT Technician for a 9 month contract in OTTAWA. Hybrid 2 days in office and 3 days work from home, in rotating shifts.

What you’ll be doing:

• Identify when there is a need for an IT training session for employees
• Help customers troubleshoot IT related issues such as with computers, software, mobile devices, printers, monitors, etc, while applying IT knowledge skills
• Logging and updating all queries within the ticket logging system
• Be proactive and identify areas of improving best practices for the IT team

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Microsoft Windows, O365, Apple products, active directory, remote working tools, CMS
• Work experience with ticketing applications (Service Now)
• Understanding of IT services, technology and solutions
• Excellent communication skill and bilingual in English and French
• Broad technical knowledge of IT
• Excellent customer service skills
• 2 years of experience working as an IT technician and at an IT service provider
