Required Skills and Experience:

• 6-8+ years of experience as a Project Manager, including deployment of large scale programs (>$5M).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience dealing with virtualization in data centers.
• Practitioner of various development delivery models including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• 5+ years of experience with moving data centers or doing major upgrades in a large enterprise.
• Experience and knowledge in Financial Services, Banking, software development, and managed services would be considered an asset.
• Need to have been residing in Canada for at least 5+ years.
• Experience with problem solving, solutioning and prioritizing complex, large scale projects.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

Reporting to the PMO Director, the Sr Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Professional Services projects are executed in line with all contractual obligations to the client in a professional, cost-effective, and timely manner, ensuring that the client achieves (or improves upon) the planned financial return from the project; within this objective, you should give the client value for money. The role of the Sr Project Manager is to plan, execute, and deliver objectives of Professional Services engagements according to agreed deadlines and within the client's budget. This includes coordinating efforts of Line of Business resources operating in Scaled Agile Framework, Shared Services resources requiring advance allocation, consultants and/or third-party contractors in order to deliver projects according to plan or apply strong change control management as required.
