Territory Manager - Ontario

The Territory Manager is responsible for reaching out to build new relationships with customers, nurturing existing relationships, servicing customers with product selection, pricing, promotional execution, and ultimately achieve the sales target within the territory. This individual must have excellent follow-through with the ability to carry a sale from beginning to follow up, providing outstanding customer service. This position requires in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, negotiating skills, and closing deals. A major emphasis of the job is on management with a largely tatical focus.

• Handle all dealer issues and concerns, maintaining excellent customer service
• Act as primary contact for Hankook Tire America to dealer network within a geographic area as assigned (Ontario)
• Organizational and follow-up skills
• Assist all internal departments as necessary
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Minimum 5 years outside sales experience
• Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management
• Inform dealers of all essential Hankook programs, policies, and new products
• High School diploma required or more
• Communication skills
• Valid Ontario driver’s license
• Monitor territory performance
• Submit all reports as required
• Build relationships with decision-makers at wholesalers, distributors, and dealers
• Prospect new business
• Attend industry shows as needed
• Industry experience required
• Responsible for managing sales for a specific geographic territory
• Must be able to travel up to 80% within the Ontario region
• Train and work with dealer personnel as required
• Obtain current market information and trends, maintaining awareness of competition
• Build relationships with decision makers at wholesalers, distributors, and dealers
• Establish brand awareness
