Job Description

What we are looking for

Stratus Building Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Territory Sales & Operations Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Kitchener- Waterloo region for our franchise sales. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales & operations management, an understanding of the commercial cleaning sector, and the ability to drive incremental growth of our franchise business.

We require someone who is ambitious, driven and has exceptional customer service skills. They will also be professional, responsible, and courteous with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What we need from you

  • Detail oriented
  • Proven experience in sales and operations management, preferably within the commercial cleaning or facilities management industry.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Confident in problem solving abilities, including asking questions.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a history of achieving sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret data and market trends, translating insights into effective strategic decisions.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a sales leadership or management role.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and computer skills.
  • Strong Organizational Skillis
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally required.

What you will do

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure effective alignment and execution of sales initiatives.
  • See that office relations are maintained in a fair and consistent manner and in accordance with Stratus Corporate policies and objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors' activities, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide sales representatives to excel in meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Maintain and oversee down-line training programs.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve account revenue targets and expansion goals within the assigned region.
  • Work with the President to establish performance standards for each departmental area within the region, evaluate performance against the established standards and work with the team to improve and maintain performance.
  • Develop long and short-range plans for the operation of the region, ensuring approved plans are properly executed, discussed in weekly meetings, and that the President is kept informed of overall operations, trends, and activities within the region.
  • In accordance with the master objectives, engage in outside activities and community affairs to actively demonstrate the corporate and regional commitment to the industry and community.
  • Perform such other duties as are assigned from time to time by the President or Corporate Office.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, franchisees, decision-makers, and stakeholders in the local business community.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by actively prospecting, networking, and fostering relationships with potential clients.
  • Distribute and present information pertaining to franchise documents and sale of franchises.
