Job Description
Our client is an established leader that serves companies seeking the best service, facilities, and logistics in the cold chain solutions.


With recent expansion, we are looking for an experienced Business Development leader to develop strategic relationships with key customer contacts with the aim of fostering and growing existing business whilst identifying and targeting new business relationships and opportunities.


In this role you will:


  • Ensure branding and messaging are consistently utilized across all marketing materials and initiatives
  • Work directly with company leaders and sales team to develop marketing strategies and differentiated content
  • Provide regular Sales/KPI reporting
  • Ongoing account management and maintenance calls
  • Coordinate customer prospect meeting
  • Identify and qualify new potential accounts leveraging your existing network
  • Work closely with Operations with regard to develop ongoing lead generation (prospecting); Follow up on customer inquiries; Regional account growth
  • Create compelling strategies, and/or presentations for customer meetings
  • Manage other marketing initiatives as needed to support organizational growth objective
  • Identify warehousing, distribution, and transportation requirements of potential customers nationally


You will possess the following:


  • Possess strong work ethic, actively seeking opportunities for improvement and proposing solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail .
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, problem-solve, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Professional presence, high emotional intelligence, positive demeanor, and situation awareness.
  • Must be well versed in Microsoft Office, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, sound judgment and a team player.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • The Position requires high energy level, presentation skills .
  • Thorough knowledge of negotiation tactic, and practices.
  • Professional knowledge and experience in project management, including problem solving, conflict resolution skills, consulting skills, operational management skills and analytical skills.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development within the cold chain logistics (warehousing services).
  • Post secondary education or equivalent experience in sales, marketing
