This role is responsible for directing sales efforts to expand our client's customer base. As a Logistics Sales Executive, responsibilities include generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business.

Details:

• Terms of employment - Full Time
• Offers a base salary of $20 plus commission
• Start date - as soon as possible
• Located in Etobicoke, ON

Languages:

• High proficiency in English

Education:

• College or University Degree
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Working knowledge of office equipment
• Superior phone etiquette
• Experience of 1-3 years in sales (MANDATORY)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
• Thorough understanding of Office Management procedures
• High proficiency in MS Office & Google Workplace
• High interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction - maintain close contact with all customers - including follow up on concerns or other issues
• Maintaining trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
• Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals
• Organize office and assist in ways that optimize procedures
• Negotiate contracts and rate agreements
• Respond to electronic enquiries
• Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
• Communicate effectively with customers, shippers, receivers regarding changes in pick-up/delivery and potential service failures
