Job Description

Mission:


Drive Puig omni-channel acceleration strategy & execution for brick & mortar and e-commerce Prestige business segment with a key focus on strengthening all steps of the funnel for our key retail partners. Spearhead robust commercial plans and growth initiatives for in-store & e-tailing sales that deliver monthly and annual revenue goals


Responsibilities:

Lead the commercial strategy with local distributor & sales team to deliver sales and market share objectives

  • Negotiate and adapt commercial trade terms for each client to guarantee the accomplishment of objectives in terms of sales and margins
  • Ensure key actions are in place to have best in class execution ensure delivery of targets (sales, timely & quality of the execution of launches & portfolio updates), implement corrective action when needed
  • Oversee the key account relationships & retailer meetings with ACI Brands Inc. to develop and negotiate business plans and targets to profitably grow the business
  • Monthly or as required conduct market visits with the ACI Brands Inc. sales team to identify sales support needs and growth opportunities to deliver the sales objectives
  • Develop, negotiate and manage the various sales budgets including co-op, demo, and sales incentives
  • Participate in bi-weekly / monthly sales team meetings to motivate and provide direction based on results and feedback provided

Puig performance analysis, competitive insights, retailers & trends expertise

  • Establish strong KPI trackers with partners to clearly identify performance vs target; understanding gaps & address them
  • Expand business & landscape knowledge to identify key business drivers
  • Execute on-going competitive analysis as well as recommended strategies and tactics to improve our value equation to the customer – B&M and E-commerce (key to track retailer’s emails, retailers social accounts, competitive audits at key periods to draw insights to drive our business)

Build strong relationships with multiple retailers and internal teams

Maximize efficiency of communication, leveraging the power of the cross-functional teams & resourcefulness (internal & external)

Powerful written and verbal communications to align multiple parties: Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure that all touchpoints and messaging are working and measured harmoniously and efficiently

  • Able to multitask, project-manage, and handle multiple retailers and brands along with cross-functional teams internally and externally

Leverage the power of the cross functional teams and form strategic relationships:

  • Liaise with internal and external operations team on demand planning & fulfillment by requesting inventory, forecasting and communicating clear dates for launches and promotions aligned to the business needs
  • Work hand and hand with ACI Brands Inc. on an omni channel strategy and execution, while programming dotcom only executions where needed
  • Develop and Manage the P&L by customer with finance team
  • Partner with the Global ECommerce team to develop merchandising calendar for item image, copy strategy, as well as learn and implement tactics from other countries
  • Work closely with marketing & media team members to provide merchandising vision to all digital and B&M co-op campaigns


Skills:


  • Exceptional leadership skills, demonstrated by motivating sales teams, strong negotiation, and innovative thinking for first-to-market solutions
  • Effective project manager with attention to detail, adept at handling multiple priorities, and adept at cross-functional collaboration; fluent in English and French is a plus, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth, rankings, and market share, with expertise in partnering with top retailers (Hudson's Bay Company, Sephora, Jean Coutu, Shoppers Drug Mart, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7-10 years Sales/E-taining experience, specializing in prestige fragrance and color categories
  • Strong track record in developing and executing successful digital communication strategies, backed by ROI analysis
