Job Description

The Opportunity:


Our client, a manufacturing organization in the GTA, has partnered with ML6 in their search for a Director of Sales for Canada to join their team! In this role, you would be accountable for the overall performance of the region (all of Canada!), including revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strategic planning, goal setting, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Take a lead role in developing new business proposals and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Attend applicable trade shows, conferences and seminars as needed.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity and market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Develop sales strategies for new products, either developed internally or through acquisitions.
  • Maximize sales potential at existing accounts
  • Track performance and report sales metrics.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share goals within the assigned region.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities and results.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.


What You'll Need to Be Successful:


  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
  • Valid Driver’s License and passport
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with CRM software (ex: Salesforce)
  • 5+ years of B2B Sales and Negotiation experience
  • Experience selling into the Utilities Industry is preferred
  • Able to deliver presentations effectively
