We are looking for a General Manager to join us in the exciting work we do in the space rental and workforce housing products industry. In this role, you will be overseeing the P&L of the Ontario region, looking after the operations including planning, and leading operations that for the Ontario region which also includes contract administration, operational support, sales, development, execution, and controls of all space rental and workforce housing products.

What You Get To Do:

• Ensure projects /contracts secured by ATCO are aligned with ATCO standards including assessment of commercial gain and risk.
• Ensure corporate goals are cascaded from the top down to all regional employees.
• Confirm and analyze any financial/sales variances and ensure variances are managed appropriately.
• Ensure all ATCO policies, standards, and procedures are adhered to and upheld.
• Develop and execute ongoing sales plans to achieve sales objectives for the region.
• Coach and mentor sales, operations, and administration teams
• Manage fiscal forecasting activities and prepare budgets and business plans to support ongoing initiatives.
• Coordinate and participate in sales meetings with current and prospective clients.
• Ensure the fleet is controlled and managed appropriately.
• Coach and mentor sales team on techniques to develop sales skills to penetrate the market.
• Coordinate and liaise with the VP on tender proposals and major project execution activities.
• Direct operations to achieve/surpass budgeted earnings results and other financial criteria.
• Develop cost controls and optimization programs to ensure costs meet budgetary requirements.
• Stay ahead of the competition, competitive issues, and product and compliance challenges.

Who You Are:

• Willingness to travel
• Proven track record in account management and competitive selling
• Market knowledge of general construction contractors and the modular construction industry is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce or another related field is preferred.
• Good understanding of Ontario regions, including trends & activities in these regions, and client potential
• 7-10 years’ experience in a leadership capacity demonstrating sound business judgment.
