They are focused on creating communities and providing accessible fitness in an established and welcoming environment. The Role We are on the search for a General Manager for a growing location in Newmarket, ON.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for growing sales and providing exemplary customer service
• Overseeing studio procedures, managing staff and scheduling
• Generate and achieve personal sales goals, while training and assisting Sales Reps to meet their numbers
• Recognize areas of improvement and using sound decision making to implement change
• Manage and drive revenue streams: memberships, private training, teacher training and retail

Requirements:

• Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
• Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment.
• Solid writing and grammar skills.
• Team focused - work harmoniously with team members, clients and the general public.
• 2+ years of retail/service sales and/or fitness sales experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• The right candidate will have excellent sales and management expertise
• Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
• An affinity and passion for fitness.
• 2+ years of Management experience
• Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with computers and relevant software.
